Bio

Christine Adams is a Los Angeles and Munich based filmmaker, director of photography, and camera operator (Steadicam, gimbal, conventional) on feature films, scripted series, documentaries, music videos, live events, commercials and corporate content.

She is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600) and an active member of the Society of Camera Operators (SOC).

In 2017, Christine attended the Steadicam Operator Association (SOA) workshop hosted by inventor of the Steadicam — Garrett Brown.  In 2019, she attended AFI’s Cinematography Intensive for Women.

She majored in film at California State University Monterey Bay before beginning her professional career in 2013.  She worked at camera rental houses which allowed her to learn from professional cinematographers and camera assistants, as well as gain knowledge of the technical aspects of cinematic cameras and lighting equipment. 

Christine’s cinematography is based on creating an image and mood for what the story calls for, whether it be dark and gritty, light and beautiful, or anything in between.
